Camp Scully changes the lives of children for the better. Indeed, its motto is "Changing the World, One Camper at a Time!" It does so by providing a co-ed, day and overnight summer camp for children and teens aged 5 to 16, accredited by the American Camp Association; all overseen by a terrific, energetic and positive team of staff.
Camp Scully has six core values which guide our daily life: Service, Caring, Understanding, Love, Loyalty and Youthfulness. Campers learn to embody these values throughout the week with the activities and events that run on Camp Scully's beautiful 22 acres of land located on Snyder's Lake in North Greenbush approximately 10 miles from Albany, New York.
There are 7 overnight children's cabins, 6 day camp cabins, playing fields, hiking trails, beach area, archery field, challenge course and sports field. Campers spend their week with 9 or 11 other children in their age group and two counselors. Sessions are a week in length and exciting theme weeks describe each one.
A registered nurse (RN) is available 24/7 to ensure the health and well-being of all and Camp's kitchen staff produce lots of food to fuel all the outdoor activities that go on well into the night. Whether at Day Camp or Overnight Camp, first time 5 year old or veteran teen your child will learn a lot at Camp Scully and they'll have a blast doing so. (less) ... Read more
